Editing

Direct sound - Live sound- freshness, spontaneity and authentic atmosphere

studio sound - Sound that is recorded in the studio - improve the sound quality - get rid of any unwanted background noises e.g. ambient sounds

selective sounds - Removal of some sounds, retention of other to make significant sounds more recognizable this may be for dramatic effect, to create atmosphere, meaning and emotional nuance. this may be used to make people more aware.

sound perspective - The impression of distance in sound

sound bridge - Adding to continuity through sound

dubbed dialogue - post-recording, voice track in a studio

parallel sound - sound caused by some event on screen

sound effects - any sound from any source other than sychronised dialogue, narration or music .

music - helps to establish a sense of the pace of the accompanying scene. the rythm of music, the bacground music, the music wich accompanies a film and thge foreground music.

i think that if we look at the editing before we film then we can think about the types of music to go best and what different types os sound effects would be most suitable.
