Producer
The industry has regarded the role of the producer as only second to the director. Production is everything besides the technical work that needs to be done in order to transform an idea into a finished piece of work.
You will be planning, monitoring and efficiently using the financial and other resources to achieve the finished product.
Director
Has overall responsibility for entire crew. They work with the producer on the filimic treatment, appointing personnel, secuiring funding and overseeing the work of the research team/scriptwriters.
Camera
The camera translates the director's instructions using their knowledge of visual composition and film language to gain the best effect for a shot.
The camera operator will also be responsible for lighting.
Sound
The sound recordist has responsibility for all sound recording - positioning microphones etc.
Video Editor
Video editors put into practice instructions for editing agreed with the director.
Costume and Makeup
has to come up with designs for the actors and they have to be done on paper
