Final letter

Dear Capt S.J.Hayakwan,

My name is Nadine Board and I am an A level student at Newport Free Grammar School Sixth Form. I am writing to ask permission for my Media Studies group to film a 2 minute opening thriller sequence for our coursework on MOD property.
The area we are interested in using is located on the air field, and would be the grass and wooded areas behind the cadet hut. We have a need to conduct the filming within the next 3 weeks and it would take a couple of days. Most of the filming will take place after dark but setup will be during daylight hours. Our group will consist of up to 13 people, including myself and we would require vehicle access to move our equipment to the location.
Our equipment and props will consist of tents, camera and lighting, safety equipment and specialised props.
The script requires for a small camp fire, if possible we would like to make one on the sight, but I can assure you all suitable safety precautions will be taken and all damage will be repaired. If we have your permission to go ahead with this, I have a few release forms that necessary for us to fill out prior to filming, and I can deliver them to you for signing at your convenience before the shoot. I will also need to do a risk assessment which will need to be read and signed.
If you wish, we can send you a copy of our film sequence once it has been edited.
